ADFCA organizes ‘Weqaya’ Screening program for employees

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) organized a medical screening program titled "Weqaya" for its employees recently. A good number of employees working with the authority visited the mobile clinic of SEHA and enjoyed the benefit of free medical tests during the three-day event held at ADFCA headquarters located in MBZ City.

"The program was a result of the effective partnership we had made with various strategic partners including SEHA. Through the three-day event, our employees were able to avail the necessary medical screening services near to their working premises with much comfort and peace of mind" commented Thamer Al Qasemi, Director of the Communication & Community Service Division at ADFCA.

Al Qasemi praised the valuable efforts SEHA put in the area of regulating the medical care sector in Abu Dhabi as well as its monitoring activities over the health situation in the emirate in addition to its numerous services that ensure people's health and well-being. He also praised the awareness dissemination programs SEHA had come up with in order to educate people on how to be safe through healthy life styles and practices.

The program included physical examinations, cardiovascular screenings, tests for Blood Pressure, Sugar, Cholesterol, Vitamin D, Kidney Function and BMI in addition to the screenings to monitor smoking risk and the level of physical activities
