Brief summary for the guideline No. (31) / 2019 regarding the honeybee production

This guideline about honey bee production in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has been prepared  as one of the commitment of Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority to achieve its vision with regard to sending awareness messages to food producers, processors, processors and urged farmers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular to embrace application of sound practices and activities that support sustainable agricultural development thus leading to increase and diversification of agricultural production. The guideline also provides additional options for the farmer to increase agricultural production and improve their financial returns. In general, the guideline explains the nature of life of the insect of honey; a unique insect in its behaviors. The guideline also explains the proper basic procedures for the establishment of the sites of aperies.  The guideline has also explained the methods for harvesting, collecting, sorting and filtering honey. At the end of the guideline a chapter was devoted for explaining the major pests and diseases that affect honeybees and ways to control them.
