ADFCA clears Vietnam's basa fish
 

Abu Dhabi, 27 May 2009 (WAM) - Laboratory tests have shown that Vietnam's basa fish are free of any contamination and fit for human consumption, the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) announced today.

ADFCA's Public Relations and Communication Manager Mohammed Jalal Al Rayaisa said the Authority banned the sale of basa fish until laboratory examinations are conducted to determine whether they are fit for consumption after internet reports about possible contamination.
