Abu Dhabi, April 7, 2011: Mohammed Ahmed Al Mahmoud, UAE Ambassador to Germany, visited the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority's stall at Hannover Messe, a Leading Industrial Technology Fair in Germany being held April 4 � 8.
The Ambassador opined that there were immense scope for wider cooperation between German firms and Abu Dhabi in the food industry and agriculture. "The participation of ADFCA at Hannover Messe is very useful in cementing the ties between the UAE and Germany as far as cooperation in food and farming industries are concerned," he added.
The Ambassador was briefed by ADFCA officials on the various initiatives that the Authority was executing for better food safety and farming practices in the emirate. They also explained to the Ambassador the efforts ADFCA was making at Hannover to woo German investments in the food and agro-sectors of Abu Dhabi.
