The accomplishments of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) which brought regional and global recognition to it have not only vindicated the direct patronage it received from HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, but also the sincere and consistent efforts of the staff over the years, said HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.
Sheikh Mansour was delivering the inaugural address at the Authority's annual gathering at Emirates Palace on the occasion of the UAE's 40th anniversary. Also present at the event were HH Sheikh Hamid Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown

Conveying his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and the Rulers of the emirates on the occasion of the National Day, HH Sheikh Mansour said ADFCA had exerted maximum efforts in guaranteeing safe and quality food to the people and enforcing international best practices in the production, distribution and marketing of food products. His Highness congratulated the Authority on obtaining the Integrated Management System compliance certificate from the British Standards Institution (BSI) and commended the staff for their continued efforts to improve the quality of performance.
His Highness hoped the staff would continue to uphold the highest standards of quality and performance protect the consumer and preserve the gains of the Authority which won it a pride of place among its counterparts around the world.
