Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority participates in Hannover Messe 2012

The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority is participating in 2012 HANNOVER MESSE, the world�s most important technology event, which takes place in Germany as part of the worldwide participation of the United Arab Emirates headed by HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister of Foreign Trade. The exhibition extends its activities during the period of April 23-27 in Hannover Exhibition Center under the theme "Technology meets progress."

Hannover Messe is the largest and the most important international exhibition specialized in industrial technology and investment, which attracts nearly more than 145,000 visitors from seventy-one countries annually representing a broad range of economists, businessmen and senior traders.

Mohammad Jalal Al Reyaysa, Director of Communication and Community Service at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority said:  "We participate in this international exhibition for the fourth year in a row for our strong belief in the value of what participants have to offer in the areas of technology, industry and our willingness to take advantage of what is being offered to serve the food sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, along with providing all the information needed by the investor who wishes to establish food-related projects in Abu Dhabi.�

�ADFCA seeks to promote strategic partnerships with countries around the world participating in the exhibition, as well as exhibit the nations experience and strengthen the country's position in order to achieve leadership. ADFCA�s participation will enable it to improve its operations and promote the use of technology to increase efficiency and enable excellence, as well as highlight our role in the fields of food safety and control based on Abu Dhabi's strategy for sustainable development and conservation of natural resources.�He added.

ADFCA will also provide visitors with a demonstration explaining the details of the regulatory processes in Abu Dhabi and the methods and mechanisms used in the areas of food control and maintaining the health and safety of consumers.

The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority will participate among 23 different entities from the government sector, semi-government and private sector in Hannover International Industrial Exhibition under the suite supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Trade, which extends over an area 915 meters square. The area was designed to provide all services to ensure that it attracts the largest number of visitors possible.
