Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has recently opened a first aid room within its premises in the presence of His Excellency Adel Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Animal Wealth, Dr. Jabir Al Jabri, Manager of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Environment, Health and Safety and a number of other officials.
This was part of the Authority's efforts to provide a healthy and safe environment for all its employees and visitors.
The first aid room comprises all the essential items to provide first aid services to patients before transferring them to hospitals. Around 40 employees have undergone training in first aid at the training centre of the Ministry of Health. They have been trained in all the essential procedures and methods in dealing with various situations of health hazards.
