ADFCA Animal Identification and Registration System Campaign to compete at Cannes Lions Festival
Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) is participating at Cannes Lions Festival that will be staged at Cannes, France on June 19-25. ADFCAs inaugural foray in this renowned international competition will centre on crisis communications, a case study of crisis communications strategy implemented during ADFCAs Animal Identification and Registration System (AIRS) that concluded in March this year and covered all farms of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Mohamed Jalal Al Reyaysa, Director of Communication and Community Service at ADFCA, said: This participation at this renowned festival pinpoints our endevours to achieve more presence and recognition of ADFCA at leading international arenas. The AIRS was far and above very successful thanks to the tremendous efforts by animal tagging teams, and we are keen to highlight how this important initiative helps achieve sustainable livestock development in the emirate of Abu Dhabi through proactive communications strategies.
The various challenges faced by the communications and community service team at the onset of AIRS notwithstanding, they have managed to address all the challenges, leveraging the communications methods and tactics to outreach the target audience whilst delivering the key messages through the best and easy to reach channels. This methodology ensured huge success for the campaign.
