The Agriculture Affairs sector of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) held two awareness workshops, attended by more than 70 staff members of the sector, on the procedures followed in the feed distribution section in Abu Dhabi and the Western Region, as well as in the feed distribution and receipt section in Al Ain and in the farmers' support program section (disbursement of financial assistance) in Abu Dhabi.

The workshops comprised raising awareness among the sector's staff about the Integrated Management System (IMS) at ADFCA. A presentation was made, illustrating the operations and procedures documented using IMS and stressing the need for adhering to their implementation.

Dr. Imam from the agriculture sector introduced the IMS and the approved procedure for financial assistance disbursement in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Engineer Abdul Hamid from the agriculture sector, in his presentation, dealt with the approved procedures for receiving and examining the feed and distributing it in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, which guarantees providing the services for the beneficiaries of the financial assistance and feed support program across the emirate in a unified manner. This is to facilitate easier execution of the services in a way that enhances standards of performance in the sector.
