Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, employees of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) took part in the activities of Arab Hygiene Campaign held at Le Meridien Hotel at Dibba, Fujairah.
Organized by Fujairah Municipality in association with Emirates Diving Society for the 16th consecutive year, the initiative was undertaken to clean the beaches and the diving areas.
Around 400 volunteers, including 85 divers and 250 employees from various government bodies, took part in the campaign.
The campaign succeeded in removing more than one ton of sea wastes, such as fishing equipment, plastic bags and glass and metal packs.
