ADFCA organizes Iftar party for new Muslims

'Auwn' Initiative, the social service arm of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, being part of its charity activities, recently organized Iftar party for new Muslims at Mafraq Hotel, Abu Dhabi.  The program was organized in collaboration with Zayed House for Islamic Culture and Mafraq Hotel. 35 Volunteers of 'Auwn' and 25 persons who recently embraced Islam participated in the program.

In this regard, Ali Yousef Al Saad, Acting Director of Communication & Community Service Division of ADFCA said: "The program reflects ADFCA's commitment towards charity and community-based activities in order to strengthen the bondage between the members of the society. New Muslims need to be integrated to the society by ushering them in to the richness of Arab and Islamic culture, and Ramadan is the best time for these noble activities"

He praised the activities of Zayed House for Islamic Culture for their continuous effort to spread the message of Islamic culture and supporting those who are interested to learn about Islam

He thanked the management and staff of Mafraq hotel for facilitating the activities and actively participating in the project.

Presentations, lectures, competitions and interactions led by ADFCA officials as well as guests from Zayed House held during the program. Winners in the friendly quiz program on Islamic culture and history were rewarded with attractive prizes.
