Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has organized the third workshop of this year on Projects Quality Circle. It was aimed at shedding light on the latest in current strategic projects and related decisions and to exchange knowledge about the risks associated with each project and to discuss the hurdles faced. The workshop also comprised a presentation on the online project management system slated to be implemented from October 2013.

At the end of the event, a number of officials were honored. Dr. Ali Jumua' was honored in the category of the best project manager in terms of fulfilling the methodological and procedural requirements of the Projects Division in the first half of the year 2013. This was in regard to the project for testing and preparing 100 farms in accordance with the best practices guide. Saif Al Nuaimi was honored in the category of the manager of the most advanced project of the first half of 2013 for his implementation of the project for implementing Integrated Management System in pesticide in date palms. Mohamed Za'al Al Mansouri, Project Manager at the Projects Division, was offered special thanks for he represented both the winning projects at the division and followed up assiduously on them.
