As part of its community service activities plan, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has organized  a one-day blood donation camp for its employees at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Offices, cooperating with Abu Dhabi Blood Bank.

The program was organized by Auwn Initiative , the service and voluntary wing of ADFCA in order to create opportunity for the employees to donate blood as well as to promote the ideas as national responsibility that rests upon shoulders of each and every citizen of the country.

Forenoon session was dedicated to male donors while female employees donated blood during the afternoon session.

Both centers witnessed  good donor turn up with employees were seen queuing up for medical checkups mandatory before donating blood.

Many employees expressed their satisfaction and pride being part of a mission which gives hopes for hundreds of patients across the country.

The camp which titled as 'Thank You For Saving My Life'  was the fifth of its kind organized by ADFCA.
