Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has organized recently a lecture program on Smart Shopping for the staff of Emirates Heritage Club in Al Ain.

The program was organized as part of ADFCA's efforts to spread food safety message to various sections of the society.

Shopping skills that help to maintain healthier life was the focus of the lecture, which was delivered by the officials at the Awareness & Education Section of ADFCA.

The officials introduced the concept of Smart Shopping by explaining how to prepare a shopping plan; how to select healthy and safe food from shelves; how to understand the quality of food items by reading the label on the commodities and many other features by which day-to-day shopping could be transformed to Smart and wise way which is considered to be essential for a disease-free life.

A question and answer session followed the lecture.
