Three projects of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) have won awards of Abu Dhabi e-Government Forum of which the sixth edition held recently under the theme Towards a Digital Abu Dhabi under the auspices of Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC).
The awards come as a honor and appreciation for the best execution of GIS, Information Security and Emirates ID projects which proved to be a model for best utilization of technology in transforming government services to become more effective, easy and customer friendly.
During the Forum which held in St. Regis Hotel in Abu Dhabi, H. E Khalifa Ali, Executive Director of Strategy & Performance Sector and H. E. Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of Corporate Services Sector received the awards in the presence of H. E. Rashid Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre.
"ADFCA has put much effort to improve its services especially the e-services in line with the Abu Dhabi e-government vision and has come up with a number of projects and systems which became model for the best utilization of technology in the field of government services. We believe the award comes as an appreciation to the continuous efforts we exerted to become a leading government organization characterized by corporate excellence and high-class professionalism":- commented Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director Of Communication & Community Service Division of ADFCA, in this connection.
From his part Omar Al Nuaimi, Director of Information & Communication Technology Division said the new achievement can be attributed to the continuous joint effort by ADFCA and ADSIC to put a comprehensive development strategy to better e-services of ADFCA according to a time bound plan.
He expressed his gratitude towards ADSIC for the support it extended throughout the phases of development plan which transformed ADFCA e-services to be more effective, customer-friendly and time-saving.
