Lecture on national campaign for archiving personal documents

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has recently organized two lectures for its employees in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to introduce national campaign for archiving personal documents in cooperation with National Archives and Ministry of Presidential Affairs.

Officials from National Archives explained the plan, program and the set targets of the campaign which aims to conserve Emirati heritage and to connect citizens with the history and tradition of the nation.

In this regard Eng. Thamer Al Qasimi, Acting Director of Communication & Community Service Division said: "The campaign aims to promote awareness among citizens about the value of Emirati identity and how can they connect their personal documents with the great historical treasure of the nation"

'The campaign highlights the importance of archiving personal documents  underscoring the fact that they aren't mere pieces of papers but can be proud fingerprints belonging to the  whole nation, he said.

He said that ADFCA is proud to be a part of this national campaign along with other government organizations and is committed to spread the message down to its employees in order to educate and prepare them to shoulder this great social responsibility.

During the programs experts shared practical steps to archive personal documents in scientific way with the participants.
