In response to the call by H.H Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Ruler of Dubai, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority employees and staff joined the nation to celebrate Flag Day on 3rd November with much patriotic zeal and spirit.

The activities were held in the presence of senior leadership of the authority led by the Director General H.E Rashid Mohammed Al Shariqi.

While commenting on the occasion H.E. Al Shariqi said the observation of Flag Day on 3rd November cements each and everyone's loyalty towards the beloved nation as well as its wise leadership.

"The spectacular view of the high-fly flag gives us the core ideas UAE stands for as well as tells the story of our journey towards glory, success and unparalleled development now we witness"- he said.

"We are proud that our country has reached enviable heights of prosperity and progress, after successfully confronting with numerous odds and challenges, under the visionary leadership of H.H Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE. Indeed, we have succeeded in giving new meaning and dimensions to the notion of social justice, human rights, development, dedication, quality and excellence" he added.

He observed that this year, Flag Day carries more meaning to the citizens of UAE given the recent heroic martyrdom of UAE soldiers in Yemen still inspiring thousands to hold the flag tight in the fight against evil and injustice.

He also urged employees and staff of ADFCA to keep the spirits high and to strive to uphold the unity and integrity of the nation in order to remain as a model for peace and prosperity before the global society.
