The Awareness section of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) took part in the first Health Week events held at the Emirates National School in Mohamed Bin Zayed City during March 24-28 this month.

The participation of the Authority comprised varied activities presented for the pupils and the parents, including the animation film "Zadna." The activities also included a presentation on rotten foods and the reasons behind their contamination, in addition to a Q&A session on ADFCA's operations and the giving away of gifts. Awareness advices and publications on food safety as well as on food poisoning were also given.

Mohamed Abdullah Al Fardan, Acting Director of Communication and Community Service at ADFCA, said the participation in the health week was part of the Authority's efforts at reaching out to various sections of the society with tips and knowledge on food safety and the role of ADFCA in ensuring it.
