The Communication and Community Service division of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, under the aegis of the Authority's community service arm 'Auwn,' organized a medical examination event for the staff in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The event was organized in association with Daman Insurance Company.

A large number of staff members benefited from the program, which was held under the supervision of the Events and Social Responsibility department.

Saeed Jasim, Acting Director of Communication and Community Service division, said the initiative was aimed at helping the staff get free medical examination, especially in regard to diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure and other illnesses. "The program turned out to be an occasion for many staff members to become aware of medical problems that they were probably not aware of. Auwn is trying to diversity its activities both inside the Authority and outside with a view to reach out to various sections of the society with a number of useful services. We thank Daman for its support and cooperation in this initiative," he concluded.
