ADFCA wins .GOV Award-2015 for Best Information Technology & Communication Department in Abu Dhabi Government

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, represented by Information Technology & Communication Division has won the first ever.GOV for 'the best Information Technology department in the government of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority was chosen for the award from the best 300 organizations in Abu Dhabi and UAE federal government considering the best usage of information technology in an innovative way that is compatible with the business strategy in ADFCA through creating competing features, enhancing processes, supporting growth and enhancing relationship with customers.

On this occasion, Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director Communications & Community Service Division at ADFCA said the award comes as a honor to the efforts performed by Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority during the last 12 months, in the emerging areas such as online internet services and smart mobile applications.

He added, "ADFCA has been keen on offering the best possible services to public in the field of food safety, by providing with easiest methods and tools exploring latest technologies and IT applications in the bid to win maximum customer satisfaction.

It is noted that the award not only honors the efficiency of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority in executing projects but it also underscores ADFCA's innovative, not familiar and leading way, in applying the technology.

The.GOV award is established to honor organizations in the middle east which makes outstanding achievements in the field of Information Technology, with a focus on highlighting the progress of Smart Governance concepts and how the application of Information Technology accelerates the pace of development globally and in the gulf region.
