Lecture on the Incubation Period for Microbes Causing Food Poisoning

The Research and Development Division of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) held a lecture program on 'the incubation period for food poisoning microbes.'

Held at the Al Ain branch of ADFCA and delivered by Dr. Mohamed Al Syed, the lecture was aimed at providing the inspectors with the knowhow to detect food poisoning and to identify the microbes that caused it in the shortest time frame possible.

The lecture comprised a detailed presentation on food poisoning, the various microbes that cause it and their growth and proliferation. The lecture also dealt with the isolation of the causative microbes on the basis of symptoms, types of food and incubation period.
