Their Excellencies Rashed Mubarak Al Hajeri, the Delegate Member and Member of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) Governing Board and Rashed Mohamed Al Shariqi, Director General of ADFCA and the executive directors and the entire staff of ADFCA celebrated together the UAE Flag Day in response to the call given by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

His Excellency Rashed Mubarak Al Hajeri stressed that the wise leadership of His Highness the President had delineated for the sons of the UAE the path of prosperity and upward mobility. The credit for the dignity with which the sons of the UAE live should go to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and he was the first to hoist the UAE flag on the day of the union, he pointed out.

Al Hajiri reminded that the people of the country owe their prosperity and well being to their wise leadership, represented by His Highness the President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who channeled all the efforts in the direction of ensuring decent lives for the people and complete care for them.

His Excellency Rashed Mohamed Al Shariqi said that "we are hoisting the flag of the country aloft and the picture of His Highness the President as a sincere expression of our love, loyalty and sense of belonging to this generous country and her esteemed leadership." He added that the love for this country "was ingrained in all of us by our father Zayed, which has reached its perfection across the generations."
