Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has partaken in the 10th Open Day activities organized by Zayed Higher Organization For Humanitarian Care & Special Needs represented by Abu Dhabi Center For Care & Rehabilitation.
The activities are conducted under the title 'Be a part of it' at Armed Forces Club, Abu Dhabi.
ADFCA marked its participation by involving in a wide range of activities that aiming at imparting awareness on various aspects of food safety.
Special needs children from several care& rehabilitation canters affiliated to the Zayed Higher Organization, private institutions and children from government and private schools in Abu Dhabi jointly participated in the activities.
Awareness & Education Section at ADFCA staged an interactive session where participants had a chance to directly raise their questions and doubts related to food safety topics and issues.
Also, ADFCA officials set up a special stall to impart food safety lessons to children with specials needs through easy and convenient methods suitable for the disabled ones.
Awareness materials such as booklets and brochures were available at the stall for distribution.
