Under the chairmanship of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) held its first meeting of 2015.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Mansour welcomed the new members who joined the reshuffled board of directors and congratulated them on the leadership's confidence in their capabilities while extending thanks to the former members who fully performed their duty and will contribute in other capacities in the country.
The Board was briefed on the resolution issued by His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, regarding restructuring the ADFCA's Board of Directors as well as naming Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili as managing director and Mohammed Omar Abdulla as chairman of the Internal Audit Committee.
The Board also approved the minutes of the previous meeting and the decisions implemented accordingly. The Board also endorsed other issues on the agenda.
A number of ADFCA's officials attended the meeting.
