As part of its efforts to spread food safety awareness among various sections of society especially among new generation, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has organized recently a food safety awareness workshop at Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan Future Generation Society.

The workshop was conducted being part of Future Generations Camp held in the Society.

Alyaa Shahwan Al Dhaheri, Inspector at the Food Control Division of ADFCA led the workshop which covered several topics related to food safety.

Safe handling of food from the stage of preparation to the serving at dining table was described in the presentation. A special focus was given to food-borne diseases and scientific method of hand washing.

A question & answer session followed the presentations.
