ADFCA provides veterinary services at A Dhafra Camel Festival
 

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has set up a veterinary clinic to provide all kind of medical supports to the camels participating in the ongoing Al Dhafra Camel Festival, which is one of the biggest heritage events in the country, held under the patronage of H.H Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.

ADFCA's well-equipped team is carrying out tests to ensure that camels are safe from brucellosis.

A team from Animal Wealth Sector is meeting camel breeders and owners who are participating the event, in order to impart them awareness on the safe practices to deal with animals. Officials also distribute awareness kits which include leaflets on various subjects related to animal wealth, to the visitors.

ADFCA has also organized a special lecture on safe food handling practices at the stand of Productive Families Project set in the festival premises.
