Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development has visited Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority's stand in the popular event, Liwa Dates Festival now going on in Western Region.

The minister toured the stand and had a close view on various agricultural crops produced at research stations functioning under ADFCA.

During his tour, he praised the leading role played by ADFCA in the area of agricultural development and food safety in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. His Excellency also praised the efforts ADFCA is rendering-as one of the organizers of the festival-in the field of awareness raising among the farmers especially on that related to latest methodologies, innovations and best practices in cultivating date palms.

One week on, ADFCA's stand in the festival was visited by good number of visitors who find interest in knowing the latest updates in the agricultural scene in Abu Dhabi. The stand also provide the visitors information on a variety of topics related to agriculture as well as on projects, initiatives and services ADFCA offer in the area of food and agriculture.
