ADFCA stand in Liwa Date Festival attracts good number of visitors
 

ADFCA stand in the ongoing Liwa Date Festival witnessed good number of visitors including citizens, residents and tourists as the popular event completes six days.

Farmers who visited the event utilized the opportunity to know more about the agricultural services, projects, researches and latest technologies by touring ADFCA stand where a numbers of publicity materials were available for public.

Being a strategic partner and an active member of the organizing committee, the authority has set up an attractive stand in the popular event organized annually under the kind patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Presidential Affairs and Chairman of ADFCA.

In the stand, the public can view a variety of agricultural crops produced at the research stations under ADFCA such as dates, honey and lemon varieties. Book-lets and other publicity materials describing ADFCA's activities in the agriculture sector as well as leaflets about diseases that affect the plants and crops such as Red Veevil are available at the stand. Moreover, a team of enthusiastic officials are also available to explain things to the visitors.

Apart from providing information on agriculture, the stand also is an open space to know the scope, work style, projects, services and supports given by ADFCA in various areas including food safety and animal wealth.
