ADFCA carries out food inspections in Al Ain

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has organized recently a food inspection campaign in Al Ain targeting all kind of food facilities in the area.

The inspections were organized to ensure that facilities adhere to the food safety rules and regulations.

The inspections, held in surprise, ended with serving 10 warnings and 14 violations. The inspectors noticed shortcomings and violations in the area of maintaining general cleanliness and following health practices. Presence of rodents were noticed in some facilities which were booked for violations.

29 facilities were found to be perfectly adhering to the rules and regulations set by Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.

During the inspections, ADFCA officers educated the facility staff about a number of health and safety aspects to be followed while handling food.

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority is keen to impart food facilities latest knowledge and awareness in order to safeguard the health and safety standard of the emirate. It includes field visits, inspections, distribution of materials and spreading awareness through social media platforms.
