ADFCA showcases Control Management & Customer Service Program at GITEX 2015

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has showcased its advanced Control Management & Customer Service Program in GITEX 2015 which is continues to attract visitors from across the world at Dubai World Trade Center. The authority is participating in the event being part of Abu Dhabi e-Government stall which is an umbrella of 26 government entities in the emirate.

"ADFCA has put much effort to keep modernizing its services in sync with the industry needs and economic growth and in response to the call of the wise leadership of Abu Dhabi to ensure continuous improvements in the way government bodies serve the public' said Ali Yousef Al Saad, Acting Director of Communication & Community Service Division at ADFCA, while commenting on the occasion.

He said the implementation of the Control Management & Customer Service Program reflexes ADFCA's commitment towards realizing government vision to transform public entities' performance in to a level where optimized customer satisfaction is guaranteed.

"This new program focuses on improving prevailing food control system in sync with developmental growth witnessed in Abu Dhabi emirate these days" he pointed.

Detailing about the program further Omar Al Nuaimi, Director of Information Technology & Communication Division at ADFCA said: "Control Management & Customer Service Program aims to automate the field inspection process using risk-based approach to facilitate task dissemination according to the food business risk level and their performance to the concerned inspector and create a regularly updated database of food industry for the emirate of Abu Dhabi. It also focuses on creating establishment profile management, and implementation of the Risk Management module using Oracle Policy Automation, and Mobile Field Inspection Module which uses SAP Mobility Platform.

"By launching this program, ADFCA will have a standard platform for all inspection process (based on risk based system) which can be developed in the future and can have more versatility over the existing solution, and will have the latest technologies which will cover more features demanded by the business users and the new trends, on the other hand, It will enable ADFCA to achieve centralized data by customer centric profiling, in addition to having a mobile inspection application compatible with various handheld devices and across various platforms to fulfill Abu Dhabi Government's mobility initiative" he added further.

It is learnt that the project implementation scope will cover implementing major functionalities to ensuring 360 degree customer centric, such as Oracle Siebel CRM (for Food Control Process), Centralized Lookup Management (Master Data Management) and Unified Customer Profile.
