ADFCA to partake in Esri User Conference in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority is all set to participate in The Esri Middle East and North Africa User Conference (MENAUC) to be held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre during 17 -19 November.

ADFCA  will participate in the conference- which is considered as one of the biggest events in the area of Geographical Information Technology- as a member of the Abu Dhabi e-Government, an umbrella of several government organizations in Abu Dhabi.

The participation reflexes ADFCA's keenness to communicate with a wider audience and to share its latest technologies especially the GIS-based services and applications that contribute in winning optimized satisfaction from customers as well as strategic partners.

ADFCA believes that ESRI User Conference will serve as a perfect platform to be at to network with GIS experts and business leaders from across the world being part of its efforts for bringing positive changes in the lives of people by exploring the innovation in the field of technology.

ADFCA's Information & Communication Technology Division will be exhibiting the success story of introducing GIS and the spatial dimension in ADFCA business and operations, by spatially enabling its services.

According to ADFCA, Applications using location-based interactive and analytical maps that serve the business across all sectors including agriculture and animal wealth and at all levels of operations will be shown at the conference.

It is learnt that through the GIS based applications and services ADFCA has transformed the way government services go, by garnering a number of benefits starting with optimizing and better planning of field operations such as inspection, agriculture and veterinary services, effective resource utilization, enhancing collaboration with the stakeholders, increasing community awareness, helping in risk planning and emergency response, optimizing facilities management  and finally augmenting and enhancing decision-making by executives by providing analytical and interactive maps and dashboards. It also proved to be a great leap in saving time and effort for customers, stake holders and even for employees.
