Organized by Abu Dhabi Education Council to celebrate the science and to develop younger generation, the event showcases exciting, engaging and educational activities for the whole family-from fun workshops to interactive exhibits and spectacular shows.

Thamer Al Qasemi, ADFCA spokesperson said the authority is becoming part of the regionally known science event for the second time in line with its policy to support social and community development programs and initiatives.

He said: "ADFCA's participation reflects its commitment towards the directives of the leadership pertaining to encouraging young generation for exploring the world of science and related disciplines. We came to the festival with the strong belief that the event would become instrumental in encouraging younger ones to explore the world developing on the basis of knowledge and science. We would like to be an active part of this festival to support the students who aspire for newer heights in their life"

According to AlQasemi, ADFCA has arranged a bouquet of activities at its stand set in the festival premises to entertain younger ones and also to lead them to the world of knowledge and science.

"Two interactive activities, one in the name of "Smart Shopper" and the other with the title "Junior Inspector" are the main two attractions of our stand. While the first is designed to inculcate the basic ideas of safe shopping in the child, the other will give the child a chance to play the role of a food safety inspector and to have hands-on experience to learn how to be safe in terms of food"

He said, apart from the two main edutainment programs, the stand will serve as a perfect platform for public to know all that related to safe food practices and the laws and regulation related to handling food inside the Abu Dhabi emirate.

It is learnt that a team of experts will be available in ADFCA stand to describe ADFCA scope and its mission to achieve food safety and to develop a sustainable food sector in the emirate. ADFCA has been keen to participate in all local and national events in order to support community and social spirit as well as to utilize the occasions to expand the reach of its awareness efforts.
