As part of its efforts to spread food safety awareness among various sections of society, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has organized a lecture on food safety at the Al Ain branch of Family Development Foundation, being part of Summer Forum 2015 activities.

In the program, ADFCA officials enlightened housewives about the importance of food safety education in order to maintain public health and safety in the society.

Alyaa Al Dhaheri and Abdulla Al Hamidi, food inspectors at Hospitals & Educational Institutions Control Unit, delivered the lectures which focused mainly on safe purchase, safe cooking and safe storage practices.

A question & answer session followed the presentations.
