​Control Sector of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has recently organized a workshop for its stakeholders at Mazyed border crossing in Al Ain in order to explain prevailing procedures of inspection on imported food shipments.

Representatives of General Administration of Customs, Ministry of Environment & Water and Ministry of Interior participated in the workshop.

The workshop covered a range of topics related to control procedures in force, such as mandatory documents for imported food shipments, commonly seen violations and other systems & regulations which are implemented to ensure only safe food is entered through the borders.
