Minister for Climate Change & Environment visits ADFCA
 

Being part of efforts to strengthen mutual relations and to find newer ways of cooperation, H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change & Environment has visited Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and held discussions with the top officials.

H.E. Rashid Al Shariqi, Director General of ADFCA and other officials including executive directors received the minister at ADFCA headquarters located in MBZ City.

Ahead of discussions, ADFCA officials delivered a detailed presentation including vision & mission, work scope and recent achievements of ADFCA, before the minister.

Dr. Thani, during the discussions, stressed the importance of knowledge sharing between the two government bodies and the integration of government efforts in order to ease the way to achieve the strategic objectives.

Al Shariqi expressed his gratitude towards the newly appointed minister for visiting ADFCA and said the role of climate change & environment ministry is key in the development of food and agriculture sectors which are the main scope of ADFCA. He assured all kind of support to the redesigned ministry and hoped that integrated efforts by the two entities would bring substantial positive results in materializing leaders' vision and to develop a sustainable environment and to achieve food security.
