A large number of people many with their families visited Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA)'s stand at the Zayed Heritage Festival at Al Wathba, held from December 2 to 14 under the slogan 'Our Heritage Our IdentityZayed our Exemplar." The visits were aimed at learning more about ADFCA's various services for different segments of the community.

Mohamed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director of Communication and Community Service at ADFCA, said more than 2000 people, including foreigners and pupils, had visited the Authority's stand, indicating the preeminent position of ADFCA. "Participation in popular events such as the Heritage Festival is an opportunity to meet and reach out to various segments of the community and convey ADFCA's message of food safety to them," he pointed out.

Al Rayssi said the participation gave ADFCA an opportunity to explain to visitors in detail the various services offered by the Authority in the fields of food safety, agriculture and animal wealth management. Besides, they were also able to see ADFCA's agricultural products and natural honey. Gifts were given away to pupils who visited us too," he added.
