Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) is offering artificial insemination services for cows through its Department of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer. This is aimed at improving productivity and spreading breeds suitable for the local environment, be it for meat or for milk.
Mohamed Jalal Al Rayssi, Director of Communication and Community Service at ADFCA, said ADFCA was committed to supporting animal breeders for improving productivity in both meat and milk. "The artificial insemination services include three breeds with distinctive properties for improved productivity in meat or milk or both. The results of the services are already evident in many animal farms, having improved the meat and milk output in a way that enhanced the overall productivity and reduced economic costs," he explained.

The Department of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer is providing valuable services that contribute to improved productivity for the animal wealth through advanced scientific and technological methods. This includes infertility treatments, embryo transfers, pregnancy detection and others.
