ADFCA celebrates UAE Flag Day

In line with the directive of H.H. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President & Prime Minister of UAE, Ruler of Dubai, to observe 3rd of November- the day on which H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Allah rest his soul, assumed the office as president of the UAE- as UAE Flag Day, the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has organised a cermony in this occasion. The authority's activites were attended by H.E. Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri, Director-General of ADFCA, executive directors and division directors.

Held in the headquarters of ADFCA in Mohammed Bin Zayed city, the ceremony witnessed full presence of employees. H.E. Saeed Al Ameri hoisted the UAE's flag amid cheers of the employees, who chanted slogans of the national anthem, which reflected their dedication, loyalty and commitment towards the nation and its wise leadership.

The celebrations also highlighted the importance of this occasion in deepening the national sense of citizens under the Union's flag, which is the symbol of the UAE identity, originality and its people.

In this regard, Thamer Al Qasemi, the Official Spokesperson of ADFCA, stressed that celebrating the Flag Day is a civilized event that offers an opportunity for the sons and daughters of the nation to express their love towards the state leadership and their pride of their national identity.

"Flag Day reflects the spirit of unity and cohesion as well as the values of love and brotherhood enjoyed by the people of the UAE," said ADFCA's spokesperson. As part of its commitment to serve and lead the nation, Al Qasemi pointed out that ADFCA is always keen on participating in the national initiatives and events.
