The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has distributed almost 15, 000 ï¿½Zadnaï¿½ gifts packs in Abu Dhabi. Each gift packs includes 12 episodes of the series which are available in Arabic, English and Urdu. The Gifts have been distributed during the school visits and the mall stands that were organized by ADFCA.
The Zadna campaign was recently launched in Al Ain and will continue its presence in the Western Region to cover most of Emirate of Abu Dhabi. A branded stand will be available at Jimi Mall tomorrow in addition to a couple of school visits that will also take place in Al Ain. A branded stand will also be available at City Mall in the Western Region on March 16th and 17th. The Western Region will also witness school visits from the cartoon characters who developed a close relationship with the children.
The campaign launched by Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has proved very popular among the children and the parents. The branded stand set-up at Marina Mall Abu Dhabi has allowed the children to interact with the cartoon characters and further benefit from the food safety tips disseminated. Gifts have been distributed to all children that include a DVD with all the cartoon series, to allow children to enjoy watching the cartoon series during their free time at home.
On the other hand, the school visits by the characters of Zadna were welcomed with great enthusiasm and excitement. During the visits, students were offered important food tips that will help them have a healthier life.
The staff working at the schools praised the campaign launched by ADFCA. They mentioned how unique it was, the way the cartoon characters have been chosen and emphasized on the importance of the food tips for children of this age. They encouraged parents to watch the series and sought such campaigns to continue as they proved to be highly successful and beneficial.
Mohamed Jalal Al Reyaysa, Director of Communication and Community Service, ADFCA, said: ï¿½We have searched for the best ways implemented to ensure that the children understand this kind of information. This is where the ï¿½Zadna Campaignï¿½ idea has been created. The idea revolves around young cartoon characters that share dialogue and are being exposed to different situations when handling food, they then deliver the advice in an interesting, humorous and convincing manner that is best for this age groupï¿½.
ï¿½The approach that has been brought out of this campaign at the malls and the warm welcome by students at schools proves that ADFCA has taken the right approach for implementing the food safety principles in the Emirate. The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority has and will continue to launch campaigns to do with safe shopping methods, and food storage practices that will target different parts of the emirate.ï¿½ He added.
