ÙAbu Dhabi Food Control Authority has organized in the first week of Ramadan an awareness lecture about 'healthy Kitchen.'
The event was held as part of the activities of the Family Development Foundation at the Shariah Centre. A number of people, including house wives and officials, attended the lecture.
The lecture, delivered by Dr. Mansour Abdul Lathif, focused on the health implications of various kitchen practices and on the best methods of running a clean and hygienic kitchen. The lecture touched upon a range of issues, such as food contamination, the methods and principles of verifying the edibility and quality of food products, ways of detecting signs of rotting or contamination on foods and other important aspects.
