Representatives from the Dubai Municipality have visited Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority to overview the systems and mechanisms used in ADFCA. The visit aims at showing the benefits from various systems used and the different ways of applying them to ensure providing healthy food for consumers and the continuous improvement of food control.
15 representatives of the Dubai Municipality from the Central Laboratory and Food Control Department were briefed on the plans and programs used by ADFCA in the field of food inspection and examination of food samples.
The meeting which was held at ADFCAï¿½s headquarters has mainly focused on studies, research, identifying systems of inspection, evaluation of food establishments, and review of food inspection services, laboratories in the mechanism of action, ways to examine samples and on how to identify the tests adopted and developed in the laboratory management of ADFCA. The holding of this meeting comes under the framework of the joint cooperation and strategic partnerships between various government departments and institutions. It aims to improve the level of work and take advantage of all the scientific and practical experiences available in the institutions of the United Arab Emirates.
