Abilities Exhibition and Conference 2014

Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority participated in the conference and exhibition of “Abilitiesme 2014” to support people with special needs. This came in the framework of “Auwn” program activities, which implemented by the Authority to serve the community.

The Authority’s department hosted the Lieutenant General, his Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and his Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minster of Culture, youth and Community Development during their visit to the conference and exhibition.

Mahra Al Dhaheri, Working at Communication & Community Service Division, delivered a speech at the conference, highlighting her personal experiment as an employee at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, the obstacles that she faced through her work journey and the efforts of the Authority to support her, provide an appropriate work environment and utilize all abilities to support her.

Authority’s representatives welcomed visitors at their department in the exhibition and provided them with information and publications about food safety, agriculture and livestock. They worked on introducing “Auwn” program for serving the community. Authority’s department has witnessed a great interest from the public to know more about the Authority and inquiry about the ways of communicating with it in order to get information about all what related to food at public establishments in Abu Dhabi.
