Blood Donation Drive in ADFCA Al Ain Branch

Last June, ADFCA Al Ain Branch conducted a Blood Campaign as part of its ‘Oun’ Initiative of community service across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Conducted in partnership with Al Ain Blood Center, the Blood Donation drive was intended to promote voluntary donation through community education and awareness-raising on the importance of blood donation to save the lives of patients and injured people and to help maintain blood stockpiles in the National hospitals to meet their increasing demand.

The drive was conducted along a morning shift for male and an evening shift for female staff. Both shifts were marked with great response by the staff who visited the First Aid Room in ADFCA HQs to donate some of their blood after having the necessary preliminary tests.
