In order to best achieve the government Outcome of maintaining a sustainable agriculture industry, it is therefore important to focus all efforts on decreasing the consumption of water in the agriculture industry and also considering the natural habitat to be utilised to best grow the crops identified within the crop plan.
By introducing GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) to our farms we will help ensure that all farms apply modern techniques and procedures in preserving water consumption and all Agricultural products are safe & clean. In addition to that, effective use of natural resources will lead to better crop production planning based on the natural resources available (i.e: soil, water, temperature, etc.) that will contribute in achieving comparative advantage.
This priority was derived from the government outcome championed by ADAFSA:“Ecologically sustainable development of the agricultural industry” in terms of decreasing environmental impact of agriculture production.
This priority will contribute to government outcome of “Enhanced competitiveness of the business environment with a dominant role for the private sector".
