On 1 June 2009, ADAFSA launched HR Self Services and replaced all paper-based transactions in the HR division.
The current user satisfaction with IT which reflects availability and utilization of systems and applications requires significant improvements. Therefore, the ongoing development of the ADAFSA IT infrastructure environment is essential to improve entity’s capabilities and productivity in order to deliver its mandate and Priorities for the government and residents of Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, ADAFSA will work on automation of integrated process tracking to increase availability and utilization of e-services.
This priority was derived from the government outcomes championed by ADAFSA: "User-oriented government services, including the online delivery of the whole service portfolio of Abu Dhabi Government in a user-centric manner" , Accessible, quality data and information for the government and the people and "Increased capacity by Abu Dhabi Government customers and employees in using ICT and the internet".
