2014 | Innovation and pioneering Award from OracleAbu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has won an award for innovation and pioneering from Oracle International. The award was conferred on ADFCA for successfully implementing the Oracle systems in line with all the international criteria. ADFCA implements 10 projects in cooperation with Oracle, covering the employees and customer services. In all its projects, ADFCA strives to make them all consistent with the smart government initiatives launched by the leadership of the country. |
2013 | Abu Dhabi Award for Excellent Government Performance – Executive Council Chairman's MedalMahra Al Dhaheri, Activities Officer at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA), won the Executive Council's Medal in the category of Administrative Support for her excellent work at ADFCA and in the Auwn program. She started her career in the service of the visually challenged as a Public Relations Officer at ADFCA in 2010. By virtue of her excellence at work, she became a Government Relations Officer and attained an appreciation statement from the United Nations for teaching the Braille for special needs people. She oversees the Auwn program for community service, contributing to the development and improvement of the conditions in the community and the overall well being. |
2013 | The Best Pioneering Initiative Award Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) won the Best Pioneering Initiative Award for its Animal Identification and Registration Program in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This was during the GCC E-Government Awards conference and exhibition, in which HH Sheikh Majid bin Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts, conferred the award on HE Rashed Mohamed Al Sharqi, Director General of ADFCA. |
2012 | Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) won the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Award in its 11th edition in the category of government entities. This was after the Authority, which was taking part for the first time, underwent a comprehensive evaluation process based on the EFQM excellence model in competition with numerous other government entities. The success of ADFCA epitomizes its efforts to actualize the concept of total quality through organizational endeavors toward desired development by choosing competencies, talent and expertise and through following highest standards and legislations that contributed to significant improvement in the final outcomes.
